An Eventful Weekend

September ended with a host of festivities: Carmen's baptism on September 28 and Josie LeCluyse's 80th birthday on September 29. The entire LeCluyse clan converged on Salt Lake City for both occasions--a happy reunion for the siblings. Friends Cary Tucker and Michael Biechlin also joined us from Austin to be Carmen's godparents.

LeCluyse Family Fun

Thanks to brother Mike, the LeCluyse clan stayed in some condos in Park City, about half an hour from Salt Lake in the mountains (you may remember a winter Olympics that was held there).

On Friday, September 26, those LeCluyse who had already arrived had dinner at Red Butte Cafe in Salt Lake.

Chris, Julie, and Mike have fun with Carmen.

On Saturday, September 27, the assembled clan gathered at Squatter's brewpub in Park City for dinner.

A Bit of Fall

Later, Miss Jo stayed on with us until October 11. Here are some pictures from a Sunday hike in Big Cottonwood Canyon to see some of the fall colors.

so many darling pictures, but my favorite is Carmen looking up at G-ma Jo with her tongue hanging out. :)
