3 C's in CA

If you're receiving these pictures via e-mail, remember that we actually have a whole blog online where you can view them and all our past postings. There's video there, too, which we imagine doesn't show up in your e-mail box.

June 20-29 we went to Sonoma County, California, where Chris taught in the San Francisco Early Music Society Medieval and Renaissance Workshop. We spent the first weekend in Guerneville at the Dawn Ranch Lodge, tucked into a stand of giant redwoods.

Guerneville is just about 11 miles from the coast, so we took Carmen for her first ocean experience at Sonoma Coast State Beach. Check out our surprise visitor at the end of the video!

Not a giant walking carnation. Our visitor packs up and goes home:

They don't make college dorms like they used to. Kids today have it soft! Here are our deluxe digs at Sonoma State, plus some pix of Carmen practicing her chill-out moves.
